Assessment tasks are designed to enable students to demonstrate the Learning and Employability outcomes for the relevant level of study. Level Learning Outcomes are embedded in the assessment task(s) at that level. This enables a more integrated view of overall student performance at each level.
This module seeks to critically explore the design, implementation and evaluation of community health promotion initiatives and health policies which seek to change health behaviour for example, promoting physical activity and/or healthy eating behaviour. You will develop your data handling skills, including analysis and reporting to understand prevalence of common public health conditions across different population groups and to critically evaluate health policy and research. You will then critically apply your learning to design, implement and evaluate a community-based intervention (programme, campaign and/or educational source) to promote health to a specific target population group of your choice.
