Assessment tasks are designed to enable students to demonstrate the Learning and Employability outcomes for the relevant level of study. Level Learning Outcomes are embedded in the assessment task(s) at that level. This enables a more integrated view of overall student performance at each level.
This module will examine the physiological responses to exercise and heat stress, exercise and altitude, dehydration and hydration strategies, ergogenic aids and doping. In addition this module will allow the students to appraise a range of physiological laboratory and field based technology relevant to the topic areas of discussion. The module will provide students the opportunity to utilise and further enhance practical and research skills learnt through their course in an applied physiology manor.
