MFC5005 - Collaborative Photography

Objectives:

Assessment tasks are designed to enable students to demonstrate the Learning and Employability outcomes for the relevant level of study. Level Learning Outcomes are embedded in the assessment task(s) at that level. This enables a more integrated view of overall student performance at each level.

Content:

Through lectures delivered on the historical and ethical contexts of the role of photography and community, you will form an understanding of the power balance between photographer and subject and learn about the socially engaged photographic movement and its practitioners. From this you will devise your own project that is meaningful to both audiences and participants and is embedded within a critically engaged and ethical framework.
