Assessment tasks are designed to enable students to demonstrate the Learning and Employability outcomes for the relevant level of study. Level Learning Outcomes are embedded in the assessment task(s) at that level. This enables a more integrated view of overall student performance at each level.
This module challenges students to work as a sports journalist within a ‘real world’ context. It requires the students to cover a sports team/sport in the West Yorkshire area as a patch reporter for a ten-week period.
This would involve going to press conferences/games/events and filing content to an outward-facing sports news online platform.
