Assessment tasks are designed to enable students to demonstrate the Learning and Employability outcomes for the relevant level of study. Level Learning Outcomes are embedded in the assessment task(s) at that level. This enables a more integrated view of overall student performance at each level.
Students will define a research project of their choice, in consultation with an appointed member of staff; formulate a proposal; obtain approval for their proposal and research methods from the School Research Ethics Committee; complete the approved project, under the supervision of the appointed member of staff; and complete a dissertation based on the project, appropriately presented and supported by scholarly apparatus.
