Further Details Relating to Assessment
Assessment tasks are designed to measure the extent to which you have satisfied the Level Learning Outcomes for your programme. Some modules, for example where there are professional body (PSRB) requirements, will also test for module-specific skills and knowledge.
Presentation (individual): you will be required to work on a local SME for a critical analysis of its supply chain elements, practices and network design. You will then be required to identify, recommend and justify various internationalisation paths in the company’s supply chain practices.
Report: you will individually be required to critically analyse the supply chain strategy, drivers, elements and network design of an organisation. You will be expected to provide some business recommendations (stemming from the analysis) to improve the global supply chain practices of the company.
Formative Assessment: formative feedback (including feed forward) will be provided as part of the workshop activity on an individual basis to support students in the development of their draft presentations and individual reports. In addition, bi-weekly games will be conducted on Kahoot platform as a way of testing students’ understanding of key concepts in logistics and global supply chain management.
