The indicative module content provides a comprehensive structure to guide teaching materials throughout the module, ensuring that students gain a well-rounded understanding of corporate risk management principles and practices. Topics such as risk and its types, risk management frameworks, risk identification tools and techniques and risk assessments methods, as well as risk mitigation and response strategies will be discussed. Further, aspects of financial risk, operational risk and compliance and regulatory risks will be introduced. Finally, emerging trends in risk management will be delved into.

Risk Management Report: the summative assessment for this module is a risk management report for a FTSE All Share company which will be allocated to you. You will be required to identify potential corporate risks, assessing their impact, and develop strategies to manage and mitigate them.
