Does the PE curriculum and extra-curricular activities meet the needs of our young people and allow them to achieve? What should High Quality Physical Education and school sport look like? What strategic decision making should be taking place with regard to curriculum design to personalise learning? Should the curriculum be different for different pupils and what considerations should be given to address inequalities? How do we assess progress within the subject and acknowledge success? Within this module students will have chance explore these questions and build on understanding of teaching and learning within PE. Students will be able to extend their understanding of the challenges facing the teaching profession and how schools implement national strategies in the attempt to raise pupil performance and wellbeing.
