On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
Enhance their personal effective working relationships as part of the team working with the organisation/agency concerned.
Negotiate learning outcomes related to the critical issue under investigation within the workplace to a satisfactory agreement and contract with both the employer and with Leeds Trinity University.
Demonstrate an ability to commission and manage work to be undertaken by other students together with the provision of feedback and editorial advice to those other students.
Produce clear and effective reports on their commissioning and editorial work and on the nature of the sector within which the work was commissioned.
Students pitch for photographic project work from external clients. This project work can be of any nature or form but an example of a format might be publicity materials for a cultural event (such as a gallery exhibition, festival or a blog). Students on this module then commission and edit the work produced to that brief by students on MFC 5172 Collaborative Project 2. The Level 6 students will oversee, appraise and provide editorial feedback on that work. The Level 6 students must manage the production of the commissioned work and ensure that, on delivery, it satisfies the given brief, matching its requirements.
Module tutors help set up and oversee the project through a series of tutorials but the main learning and teaching is achieved through the interaction and collaboration of students on this module and on its partner, MFC 5172 Collaborative Project 2.
