BMM4652 - Planning Practitioner Projects (Three Year Programme)

Objectives:

On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
Select inquiry methods and plan their use in a way that is appropriate to their work context.
Reflection is informed by the work of others and contributes to planning.
Demonstrate links between the aims of the project, how it is to be conducted and their immediate work context.
Demonstrate an awareness of underlying ethical considerations relevant to undertaking a project in their immediate work context.
Demonstrate the ability to write a project plan which is appropriate for an academic and work audience.

Content:

The aim of the module is to develop awareness of planning work based projects and to develop a work based project proposal.

Qualitative and quantitative methods
Techniques of data collection
