Students will be encouraged to develop a critical and reflective approach to the course content. Review of the theoretical concepts and models will be included in a "distance learning type of workbook" prepared for this unit, however additional directed reading and research of the selected industry will be expected. Interactive sessions will comprise a mix of teaching and working both individually and in small groups. During workshops, students will present their findings by giving their own oral presentations. The key issues presented will be critically appraised and discussed by the tutor and the rest of the students.

The combination of a group project and assignment allows students to both apply the teamwork, self-management, communication etc. skills they develop during the module as well as the direct assessment of these skills and the individual knowledge that students are expected to acquire throughout the module.
