Further details relating to assessment
Students need to achieve an aggregate mark of 50 to pass this module and receive 20 credits. Students who do not achieve 50 will need to re-sit all failed components.
For transition students only (previous MA provision or transfer from other institutions): each component of this module is worth 5 credits, which may allow to bridge a credit gap, while transferring from programmes with a different credit-base (e.g. 15 credits per module). Transferring students will need to attend a special induction session and relevant classes (specific to each component of the assessment), followed by an individual tutorial, before they can submit their assignment.
To bridge the gap of 5 credits, students need to pass component 1 of the Portfolio; 10 credits – components 1 and 2, 15 credits – components 1, 2 and 3.
