PSY6095 - Forensic Practitioner

Objectives:

Assessment tasks are designed to enable students to demonstrate the Learning and Employability outcomes for the relevant level of study. Level Learning Outcomes are embedded in the assessment task(s) at that level. This enables a more integrated view of overall student performance at each level.

Content:

There is no content as such; this module is all about you putting your experience and knowledge into practice in a forensic field of your choice. It will be a requirement that you have access to a forensic population/workplace and that a minimum of 3 hours per week (or the equivalent) will be spent within this workplace. Supervision will be provided relevant to the negotiated assessment.

Further details relating to assessment (if applicable) The assessment will be negotiated between the student, module co-ordinator and the organisation. Students choosing this module must already have access to work in a forensic/criminal justice setting for at least two hours a week for 10 weeks. The student is responsible for arranging this and students who do not have a prior arrangement with a suitable organisation will not be able to take this module.
