CYP6063 - Reflective Practice, Lifelong Learning and Employability

Objectives:

Assessment tasks are designed to enable students to demonstrate the Learning and Employability outcomes for the relevant level of study. Level Learning Outcomes are embedded in the assessment task(s) at that level. This enables a more integrated view of overall student performance at each level.

Content:

In this module students will develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of professional development and lifelong learning Students will explore a range of approaches thought to equip individuals for life long learning and encourage their professional development. Learners will have the opportunity to explore relevant theory including philosophical persepctives that underpin positive approaches to experiential learning. Students will be expected to further develop and demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to evaluate holistically their progression in both practical and academic understanding.

Portfolio of evidence will include examples of reflection, future planning plus essay.

Formative assessment by self and peers will be integrated into sessions. There will be an opportunity to review the portfolio at the beginning of Semester 2.
