Assessment tasks are designed to enable students to demonstrate the Learning and Employability outcomes for the relevant level of study. Level Learning Outcomes are embedded in the assessment task(s) at that level. This enables a more integrated view of overall student performance at each level.
This module will examine holistically the concept of health including its contribution to well being. With reference to relevant theory and research students will explore factors that have both a positive and negative impact on family health. Learners will examine the contribution of health education and health promotion. They will identify positive approaches that facilitate family health improvements.

Portfolios will consist of a plan plus a health promotion resource. There will be opportunity for portfolios to be assessed formatively during the semester.
Guidance will be provided early on in the semester to help unpack the assignment details as well as guide and inform student preparation in line with the University grading system.
