Further details relating to assessment
The assessments will be supported through a range of formative activities in the taught sessions during which students can receive informal feedback on their ideas in relation to both components. The essay will ask students to explore how practitioners might respond appropriately to one dimension of diversity (culture, disability, gender etc). Students will also reflect on a critical incident in relation to their own professional development and produce an action plan to support future development of professional characteristics during work placement.
