On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
Critically judge and assess key models of professional reflective and reflexive practice and practitioner research within the context of inclusive leadership.
Critically discuss moral and ethical dimensions related to inclusive leadership policy and practice at national and local levels.
Apply knowledge and understanding to build a conceptual framework which frames an emergent practitioner enquiry project within their professional setting.
Participants will apply their knowledge and understanding of inclusive leadership to engage in critical evaluations of policy and practice within their own setting, moving beyond the boundary of individual practice. They will analyse a model of critical reflection and apply this to an in-depth evaluation in their own setting. Ethical and moral issues related to the intersection between inclusive leadership and professional practice will be examined, with opportunity for participants to discuss issues in depth and consider potential conflict resolution within their own context.
Learning will include lectures, small group discussion workshops, seminars, independent study and tutorials. Participants will be expected to draw on their own professional experiences and personal contexts in order to contribute to, and lead, group activities.
