Objectives:

On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:

1 Evaluate a range of literature and research related to a defined field of study
2 Research an aspect of their own practice
3 Critically reflect upon their learning and the research process
4 Manage their own time and reflect on their development as a researcher

Content:

In this self-managed, work based module students will investigate an element of their practice; gathering data, evaluating it and presenting their findings in the context of relevant theory and studies.

Students are expected to demonstrate an ability to review literature and research, analyse their reading in light of practical experiences and critically evaluate the project process.
