On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
Demonstrate applied practical skill in their chosen field
Produce an ‘apprentice piece’ of production which demonstrates professional aptitude and process
Critically evaluate their final artefact
Following on from the Level 5 PDP module, the student will have already submitted an approved proposal that details their project for this module. This is a practical project and will consist of a ‘concept’ or ‘’apprentice’ piece. It is expected, though not required, that students will have been working on this (either actually, or by skill updating/refining) since their proposal in Level 5.
Because of the expected variety of projects, lectures will consist of non-technical learning which will educate cross-media projects. Specialist learning will take place in individual consultations with skills-specific lecturing staff. It is intended that the consultations be both physical and virtual.
