On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
Plan, construct and launch various media forms for online audiences
Demonstrate effective production techniques
Understand the methodology of crowd funding/sourcing and demonstrate the application to their own work.
This module investigates the practical and ethical concerns when producing AV material for Online Distribution. It is intended that students will be able to create appropriate AV material for a variety of online sources and to be able to ‘release’ and market this material to a wide online potential audience. It is also intended that this module introduce the concept of crowd sourcing and crowd funding which can be brought to a realised project later in the course.
Through a series of lectures and workshops, students will be guided in the skills required to develop and then create, release and market A-V material for online sources (utilising the concept of crowd sourcing and crowd funding).
