On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
demonstrate a basic competence in radio studio operations and location sound recording and editing;
demonstrate a basic competence in scripting for Media;
evaluate their learning in a written format
1. Radio Production will include the use of the portable digital audio recorder, principles of digital editing and recording exercises; interview techniques, scripting, personal confidence, voice and body language; scripting and recording for radio using the radio studio.
This module is taught via a series of interactive. The module will be taught across both semester to accommodate all students on MFC programmes but students will spend one semester doing this module and one semester doing the 10-credit TV module.
