PPP6001 - Project Proposal

Objectives:

On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:

1 Choose an appropriate project to demonstrate the academic and subject skills, knowledge and analysis expected at Level 3
2 Demonstrate an ability to plan a project effectively including appropriate methods, timescales and outcomes
3 Present a rationale for the project related to how it demonstrates strategic awareness and would contribute to the strategic development of their profession or workplace

Content:

In this module students will consider the learning that they have engaged in through subject specific and professional development modules in developing a project that will demonstrate their strategic awareness. Students will develop their proposal to demonstrate an awareness of time management, resource management, presentation skills and impact on their professional workplace and potential policy and practice.

Learning and Teaching Information:

Learning will take place in interactive sessions incorporating theoretical input, discussion, debate, ICT research and student presentation. Students will be supported by VLE materials, constructed reading and research tasks and workshop sessions.
