PPP4011 - Learning Plan

Objectives:

On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:

1 Demonstrate an awareness of key academic and professional skills required for work based learning study
2 Create a realistic, measurable and focused learning plan for the first year of the programme with identification of longer term goals

Content:

In this module students will be guided in a reflection on their background to learning; their motivation to study at this level and in a work based programme. They will be introduced to key skills, online learning support, negotiated learning opportunities, work based projects and potential barriers to learning. Students will be supported in developing a learning plan identifying their long term goals and the steps required to achieve these.

Learning and Teaching Information:

Learning will take place in an intensive weekend session with practical activities and tutorials.
