PPP4003 - Work-based Focus 1

Objectives:

On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
Identify a work related project, activity or development in order to reflect on developing awareness of one’s own and others’ professional roles and development needs
Relate their subject based module content, theories and data to a work based situation
Evaluate their own work place and personal practice in terms of their understanding of effective professional practice in their field

Content:

This work-based module will explore the impact of the student’s growing professional awareness and understanding of effective practice on their work place and personal practices. This will be contextualized within the specific professional context of each student and will consider individual responsibilities, roles, legal framework and relationship to other individuals within the workplace.

Learning and Teaching Information:

Students will be supported by VLE materials, constructed reading and research tasks and individual tutorial sessions.
