FWB5002 - Workplace-Wellbeing: Organisational Perspectives

Objectives:

On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:

1. demonstrate analysis of organisational strategic structure and influences upon that structure evaluate policy development and implementation in context
2. show critical reflection and engagement with policy development

Content:

Content will be drawn from consideration the strategic policies and practice of their own organisation and external influences using a PEST analysis. Policy development and the role of lobbying and influencing the decision-making process. How workplace wellbeing policies and practice may integrate within the organisation and influence policy and strategy at multiple levels.

Learning and Teaching Information:

Blend of lecture-led sessions supported by seminars and discussion.
Independent study to include research, reading and weekly work-based learning tasks.
Documenting and evaluating through used of personal reflective learning journal.
