On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
1. demonstrate negotiation and project planning skills to develop an applied workplace wellbeing intervention relating to mental and emotional health
2. apply theoretical knowledge to a practical application
3. show critical reflection and evaluation throughout the intervention and produce a meaningful final evaluation
Drawing upon material and skills developed in earlier modules students will develop and negotiate a specific wellbeing intervention in the workplace with an individual volunteer. The intervention will be focused upon mental wellbeing and is likely to be primarily (although not exclusively) concerned with workplace stress. Interventions might include; waling programmes, time management, healthy eating and drinking. The intervention will be negotiated with all stakeholders with SMART objectives; record keeping will include a timeline and business-case for the intervention. Throughout students will be made aware of professional boundaries and the existing support mechanisms in the workplace.
